Come for an afternoon sail – the ultimate west coast experience. You’ll see great scenery and wildlife. Every trip is a little different. We may see dolphins, whales, seals, eagles or jellyfish, but the Vancouver Island coastline is always magnificent.
We set sail from Victoria’s Inner Harbour for three hours. The Thane may look like a classic, wooden, tall ship of another era, but it is has been refitted and completely updated with safety equipment, computerized navigation system and communications. The Thane is a 55 ft ketch sailing ship (with a 100 hp diesel motor for the harbour before the sails are raised).
